1. About TraceContainer

TraceContainer is a free, web-based logistics tool that identifies the shipping carrier associated with a container number and redirects users to the carrier’s official tracking portal. We do not provide real-time tracking data ourselves — all tracking information is sourced from the respective carrier’s systems. We also offer optional user account functionality, email subscriptions, and links to affiliated tools including TraceAWB.com and HSCODE.IN.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using TraceContainer, you confirm that you:

• Are at least 13 years of age, or are using the service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
• Will use the service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.
• Have read and agree to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

3. User Accounts

You may create a free account on TraceContainer to access features such as saved containers, search history, and carrier preferences.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. Providing false information may result in account suspension.
• You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. Upon deletion, all your personal data including search history and saved containers will be permanently removed from our systems.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or are found to be used for automated or fraudulent purposes.

4. Container Search Data & Search History

• Container numbers you enter are used to identify the associated shipping carrier and redirect you. For logged-in users, search history is stored in your account to provide a convenient reference and can be deleted at any time.
• Anonymous searches may be logged in aggregate (without identifying information) for the purpose of improving our carrier prefix database and detecting misuse.
• You agree not to use our platform to perform bulk automated lookups. Excessive automated queries may result in IP blocking or account termination.

5. Email Subscriptions

• If you subscribe to our newsletter via the subscription form, you consent to receiving periodic emails from TraceContainer about logistics updates, new features, and industry insights.
• Subscription is voluntary. You may unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link included in every marketing email or by contacting us at [email protected].
• We do not share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.
• Transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets) are sent as a necessary part of the account service and are not subject to marketing unsubscribe requests.

6. Use of the Service

TraceContainer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform for personal or professional container tracking purposes. You agree not to:

• Use automated bots, scrapers, crawlers, or scripts to query the platform in bulk.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or replicate our carrier prefix database or any proprietary content for commercial purposes.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation, security, or availability of the website or its underlying infrastructure.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or network connected to our service.
• Use the service for any unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, or harmful activity.
• Circumvent any ad-blocking detection or interfere with the display of advertisements served by Google AdSense.

7. Advertising

TraceContainer displays advertisements served by Google AdSense to fund the free operation of this service.

• Google AdSense may use cookies to serve advertisements based on your browsing history and interests. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how advertising data is handled.
• We do not endorse or take responsibility for any products or services advertised through AdSense on our platform.
• You must not use ad-blocking software that deliberately prevents us from earning advertising revenue, as this service is provided free of charge and is funded by ads. We kindly ask that you whitelist our site.

8. Accuracy of Information

While we strive to maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of 2,695+ container prefixes, TraceContainer makes no warranty — express or implied — regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the carrier identification data. Carrier prefix assignments may change without notice.

TraceContainer is a reference and redirect tool only. Always verify shipment details with your carrier, freight forwarder, or official customs documentation before making any commercial, legal, or customs decisions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TraceContainer and its operators shall not be liable for:

• Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of — or inability to use — the service.
• Incorrect carrier identification or tracking redirect errors.
• Decisions made based on information obtained through TraceContainer.
• Any delays, customs penalties, financial losses, or commercial consequences resulting from reliance on our carrier data.
• Unauthorised access to your account due to your failure to maintain secure credentials.
• Any loss of data, including search history or saved containers, due to account deletion, technical failure, or service discontinuation.

10. Third-Party Websites & Tools

TraceContainer redirects users to carrier-operated tracking portals and links to affiliated tools (TraceAWB.com, HSCODE.IN). We have no control over the content, availability, accuracy, or privacy practices of any third-party website. Your use of those sites is governed by their own terms and policies. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for any shipping line listed on this platform.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on TraceContainer — including but not limited to the website design, source code, carrier prefix database structure, brand assets, and written content — is the property of ASTAR and its operators and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any part of the website or its content commercially without prior written permission.

12. Service Availability

We aim to keep TraceContainer available at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the entire service at any time, with or without notice, without liability to you.
