How to Read a GNYU Container Number (ISO 6346)
For accurate GNYU container tracking, every container follows the international ISO 6346 standard. The first three letters represent the BIC registered owner code for Geest North Sea Line. The 4th character is always U denoting an intermodal freight container, followed by a unique 6-digit serial number and a calculated check digit for tracking verification.
